IVY

IVY is a cool city girl who expresses herself.
Urban, cool and tiny bit of goth.
I was inspired by Korean female fashion models with black hush cut hair.
She's like a girl you could see from streets during fashion weeks and takes a lot of attention from street photographers.

Ivy is a revised version of my former Korean girl doll, SunYeong.
Her sculpture is based on SunYeong.
I modified SunYeong's face here and there for more detailed and stronger look.
From the first, I imagined this urban girl with a bit of goth.
But, I'd never tried goth look before, so It wasn't easy for me to try this look for the first time, though it was only a bit.
I changed the makeup and wigs a few times.
Some people who have seen my new dolls from the first processes said Ivy was their favorite.
Because of her more casual clothes and flat boots, it's a fun to pose her.

She comes with this deep coral pink casual dress with black ribbon.
It looks simple, but you'll find tiny details like lovely collar and bead buttons on her wrists.
The pattern is very simple, so I focused on the color more.
You know, the color on the screen and on the paper and on the fabric are all different.
I was very happy when I saw the real color on the fabric.
And the boots are also handmade. My friend made them for me.
The shoe soles have the initial M from Mazarine. I made the soles for the shoes.
The boots have very tiny zipper, I know, some of you find the tiny zipper annoying a little bit,
but fashion sometimes wants some sacrifices. Once you put them up, you'll love them.
Of course, she comes with heel feet as well.
