Peggy, a girl in your old photo album, is a new pettie fashion doll by Mazarine.
I always loved vintage and retro vibes. There is something warm and lovely in it.
The old-fashioned looks in many old books, photos, advertisements looked very interesting to me.
So I tried this vintage vibe doll. The head sculpture was very difficult for me.
I have made uncountable realistic heads so far, but this simpler head took longer time.
It should be natural and lovely but at the same time, the sculpture itself should look vintage.
After long process time, I finally finished the sculpture. The rounded forehead, chubby cheeks and ski jump nose.
I loved red cheeks on young kids, so I blushed the cheeks. It may be a little bit too much,
but it needs those red cheeks for vintage look. and I couldn't give up on the blonde angel-like curly hair.
It's totally vintage! And of course the red baby dress, red shoes and the white socks!
I'm so happy that the girl who remained in my imagination for a long time finally came out!
I wanted her look like a kid model in 50-60's detergent advertisements or something though I've never lived in those time,
and I also wanted her to remind you of someone in your old photo album. Does her remind you of someone?
In my imagination Peggy has several friends. I hope they will come out true too!
